This is the second time I've bought this product, on super sale, and I'll continue to purchase from this seller. Great deals, quality Dog bed. I was surprised that the cover was actually waterproof, bc it doesn't look it. But it really is. We've had a few accidents (14y.o. English mastiff can't go much longer than a few hours to go potty these days) and I just pull off the cover, out it in the wash, air dry it, and we're good to go!!It's kind of thin for a big dog.This is perfect for my german shepherd... he has had two surgeries for his hips and will sit on this instead of the hardwood floor (thankfully)The cover has a man-made sheepskin type material. It gets dirty very quickly and does not vacuum clean, you have to wash it to make it look clean again. Washing it is not difficult, you unzip it and put the cover in the wash, it even machine dries. But putting the cover on is a struggle, prepare to ruin a nail or two if you worry about that sort of thing.Dog loves it and its very comfortable (yes I tried it) but i wish there were more darker colors, the white color starts looking dirty IMMIDIATELY. Luckily the outside comes off easy with a zipper so you can wash it. We'll see how long it last.In May of this year we adopted a goldendoodle. He had his own petbed that he came with, but we wanted to get him some things that he would associate with his new home as well, so we ordered this pet bed to use in our bedroom (and his other petbed we kept for the living room.) I was kind of disappointed when we received it. The outer cover was nice, but as plush, thick, or luxurious as I thought it might have been from the pictures. Then inside was even more disappointing as it's literally just a layer of egg crate foam. However, since we had it we decided to use it. Our goldendoodle is medium sized (closer to large) and he fit well on it. He did not seem to mind it. The colors went well with the minimal aesthetic of our room. Fast forward around 4 months and I found that he had chewed some holes in the cover. He's not a very chewy dog, and certainly not an aggressive chewer so I take this to mean that this was not very quality as it didn't hold up to his gentle wear. I ended up throwing this out and now he uses his original petbed in our room. ?‍♀️For reference: Tobias is a 110 lbs Akita mix. He fits in XL clothes and harness.Tobias LOVES this bed. He doesn’t really chew his beds so I couldn’t really speak on how chew resistant it is.I purchased the bed in XL he fits perfect in it. The bed seems to hold the cushion nicely. Will likely purchase a second one for my corgi because she likes his bed too.I really like this dog bed, it's great for a 42" crate. It is about 3 inches thick and has a durable, zippered covered that you can wash easily. One side of the cover is smooth material and the other side is like plush velvet. So far my dog has not torn it up and lays spraddled out on it while sleeping.
