This bed is pretty decent for the price and gets the job done for a day bed in my sun room. A couple of parts came damaged and had clearly been altered to cover up the damage, but it still seems to hold up ok. A little guerrilla glue helps. One thing I don’t like is that the storage drawers are a different shade of white from the rest of the bed for some reason. It looks a little tacky. Still, for the price it works well, looks pretty good in the space, and does what I need it to do.I had to modify the parts to make the screws fit into the sockets. What I like most about this product is that it can be assembled into a king bed when in use and a twin when not in use. This helps me use my space efficiently. I got the bed that hides the extra mattress under it (it looks like drawers but it's not). The mattress used are 4 inch depth, I could not find 5 inch ones that were at a reasonable price (6in would probably rub according to other reviews). The bed is not very tall (which didn't matter to me). The trundle that stores the extra mattress has freely rolling wheels (not on a track) which at times you have to carefully roll under for it to align perfectly under the bed. Which also make not be flush with the bed frame if you push too far inward. The bed does have many pieces to it but is easy to assemble and comes with directions that are pretty straight forward. This came in a BILLION pieces. One large box with a billion pieces. Thank goodness my fiancé is a handyman but it still took him 3 hours to assemble. He says it was built poorly for assembly but after all said & done, it’s not too shabby. We have a pretty small living room space so having this day bed worked out nicely. The drawers are kind of fussy & if you have a thick blanket it’s a little harder to fit in the drawer & then under the bed.We got two 6 inch foam mattresses for it & with the right pillows & comforter it can be super cute! It expands into a king & it is amazing on movie nights. Our 3 pound chihuahua loves it.I really wish at the end of the bed there was a piece of wood there to keep the mattress from sliding off :/ it’s most likely going to need some reinforcements so it doesn’t break down if you plop down on it too hard or after a few times. But all in all it’s a great day bed for the price even considering the shipping. I’d recommend getting a 4 inch foam mattress instead of the 6 in like I did so then you could stack them on top of each other when put away. If we have both stacked on top of each other it feels crazy high so we just put one of the mattress in the other room when not in use (which I don’t like but w.e.)I’d recommend this day bed to friends that can’t afford and/or have the space for a couch :)Needed something to double as a sitting area and a guest bed for single or couples. This fit the bill and at a decent price. Looks nice. Has a few issues though. The pieces had a few scratches, an exposed staple, and the finish was damaged in one area upon unboxing (see picture). Thankfully all of these are in areas where they really aren't seen once assembled. The listing didn't really say what size mattresses to use, so we bought it and crossed our fingers that the mattresses we already had would fit... They are 8" mattresses and you really have to lift the main bed frame off the ground to fit the pullout underneath with a mattress on it. The biggest issue we had is the pullout doesn't fit into the main bed frame correctly (see picture). The front main support is almost 1" too short for the pullout to fit correctly, which makes it stick out a few inches in front. It's not a big enough deal for us to disassemble, pack it all back up, and return, but it is frustrating that we just paid that much money for something that is flawed. We are trying to figure out a way to modify the frame so it works correctly. This bed is in our guest bedroom. I was looking for something that would take up a small amount of space when it wasn’t being used but provide ample space when guests were here. This is perfect for a dual space since our guest bedroom doubles as an office. This bed is loud and squeaky. I would not recommend it as a daily use bed because I don’t think it would last long.It was easy to assemble. My husband and I did it in about 3 hours. We used (2) 6 inch mattresses. This is a great bed! So sturdy, very cute, BUT the headboard cannot be changed to the other side. You may already know this, but I did not, so I was disappointed. So here is your warning, make sure the orientation is correct for the space.Bed Assembly level- intermediate to advanced. This should not be your first flat furniture assembly. It can be confusing or get complicated. I didn’t have any issues, but my husband was convinced the bed had a personal vendetta against him??♀️.Overall, I would buy againFor the price this bed is a good value. My husband assembled it by himself in a few hours, the directions are easy enough to follow. We were able to fit a 5inch mattress with sheets in the trundle, but it is a tight fit. Extra bedding has to be stored elsewhere. This is primarily our toddler’s bed but after having my older parents visit and sleep on it, I am quite happy with the purchase. The frame held together well for their stay. I was worried it may need reinforcements for adults to sleep on the extended frame but it was fine as is. I would purchase this again if we needed another bed for a guest space.
