Very happy so far with the flat sheet I bought. I put it through the wash with other laundry three times before using and it was nice and soft, and has only been getting softer since then. The percale weave is better than sateen in my opinion because it seems cooler and softer. The sheet is somewhat thick but doesn’t trap heat (I am a very hot sleeper).As for the price, yes it is expensive. I don’t buy enough sheets to know whether it’s worth the extra expense but I can tell that it is a very high quality product. I purchased it a month ago so time will tell if it holds up.While the quality of the cotton is very good, the stitching is horrible. After a few months of use, you will need to reinforce side seams as there are micro holes all along the seams edge. I've bought better quality sheets, that lasted far longer, at Walmart and Costco. For the cost, I should not have to re-sew the seams on my sewing machine. I would not recommend this brand at all!At last...a king size flat sheet that actually manages to provide coverage for the newer mattresses. We have a split king with an adjustable bed frame. The extra width is especially important when one partner has the head or foot raised and the other is sleeping flat...this sheet minimizes the yanking and grumbling. All cotton is important to me. Our climate is so dry that synthetic fabrics produce a lightning storm of static electricity. This sheet is becoming softer with washing and seems to be wearing well. Increasingly when shopping for sheets the only choice available is a set. I appreciate being able to find sheets for my bed that come in the pieces and a size that I want. A color choice would be nice but I’ll take what I can get. I will probably get one more top sheet, finally mariekondo my linen closet and goodwill all the useless pieces and extra pillow cases....I had a wet dream the first few nights of sleeping with this sheet. It’s a little crunchy now, but still comfy. Guess I should wash it.The best sleep experience on this sheet. If you can't afford high quality Italian sheets, this is the next best.The sheet was supposed to be a California King, but the package just says King. However it is the biggest sheet I have aver seen. The quality is good and I am grateful that I was able to purchase a flat sheet rather than a sheet set. When did it become almost impossible to buy an individual sheet?Always loved Thomas Lee sheets, but this last one is indistinguishable from the ones we have used over seven years. I have always loved that this brand was crisp and held up well. This recent one is droopy and clingy, and I’m disappointed because these should be worth the price.The luxurious feel, depth of color, and comfort. Depth of fitted sheets make it easy to pull down at corners.I use them now throughout our house and at kids dormitory. Twin xl, full, queen, and king/cal king. Good idea to just make one flat sheet for king and cal king.
