We purchased this for our 10 year old (approximately 110 lb) son who likes to have slumber parties with his older brother in the family room. After a camping cot proved to be too rustic on him we tried three different air mattresses. All of which got hairpin holes leading to a deflated mess in the morning. I tried to do a lot of research to purchase the next slumber area.First of all, the chair is much smaller than the picture shows and as one reviewer stated feels like a kids chair. Which isn't a problem for us because it is for a kid. I consider myself to be a professional DIY assembler and this challenged me. It took about 2 hours and at the end step I was bummed to find out the Ottoman does not attach to the chair it pulls out. Which would be a problem but we will correct it by butting it up to the coffee table. As for durability... I am skeptical. For half the price I would have loved it. For the price I paid , let's just say I'm glad I purchased the insurance because I can't see this thing holding up year after year. Only time will tell and I will update the review it as I see fit. I'm not all warm and fuzzy inside after the purchase but I'm also not beating myself up. I'll tell my older kids to steer clear of sitting in it to be on the safe side.
