I am satisfied with this cover, and think it was a good buy. But I had a previous similar cover and knew what to expect and what the limitations were.Pros:-Fits the 2013 Tacoma Extended cab perfectly- I added a bit more sealing tape in the front corners- just two small pieces to seal gaps.-Easy to roll up with one person.-Inexpensive way to waterproof/windproof you cargo area.-No leaks yet even without installing a tailgate seal I had bought.-Can open your tailgate without removing the cover. It has the advantage of being able to loosen the rear edge at the tailgate without removing any seals while you open and close the tailgate (which will make the rear seal last a lot longer).-I got close to 2 extra MPG after installing the cover.-Great customer service from Extang. My new cover was shipped with three of the same cross supports instead of one shorter one for the rear. They identified the problem and sent it out immediately.-The frame and supports look very durable.Pro and Con:-This type of cover cannot easily be used in cold weather. On my previous Lebra it was difficult to get the seal engaged when the temperature was cool, and impossible to get it to work when it was below 40. I tore one corner of that old cover trying it the first time. But the Extang design, in which you engage the entire seal first and then clamp the tailgate portion tight to take up the slack, works ok in cooler temperatures. Still not good in low temperatures though, and if you plan to use a cover year round, this one is not for you. That said, even when the temperature is in the 20's here in PA, if the sun is shining brightly it will warm the black cover enough for you to open and close it. Just make sure you get it closed before the sun goes away.Cons:-Just like my previous LeBra, the Velcro straps to hold the rolled up cover are just the minimum length needed to do this. Why won't they add just two inches to make this job easier. Also, the straps look thin and I don't think they will last the life of the cover if used a lot.-Unlike the LeBra there is no way to slide the cover completely off unless you remove the frame. This would be a nice feature. I am thinking of modifying the one front corner clamp so that I can do this. Sometimes when you are hauling a motorcycle or something else and you are not going to use the cover at all, it is nice to be able to remove it so it stays clean and dry and completely out of the way.-The plastic corners and particularly the rear ones with the clamps/catches do not look like they will hold up under moderate to heavy use. They look easy to break. Again, if you plan to use these daily, this cover may not be for you.I've used Extang covers before and they were very good. This cover did not fit as good as the others but its probably because of my truck bed. Item was shipped quickly and delilvered for a great price. Very satisfied with the seller and the product itself.
