I have a 9 year old Lab/Dalmation that weighs over 100 lbs.. He has back problems and would often limp the first half hour he was awake in the morning.. I put his favorite fuzzy but very Flat bed, on top of this new one and he accepted it easily.. It is Very large and he can stretch out completely without hanging over.. And he is finally able to sleep through the night and wake in the morning without pain.. Exactly what he needed.. All other beds I tried flattened immediately..It arrived on time and was well packed.. The quality of the cover is excellent.. It took about 6 hours to fill out.. I placed it on my bed and shook it a bit once an hour.. This was not in the directions but it made me happy to do it.. One side took longer than the rest, but by nightfall, it was nearly the same size all the way around.. I put it in the cover, and it continued to rise and it is now 4 inches all the way around and I am VERY happy with it..I was pleasantly surprised to find it also has a warranty..I would recommend it.. :)This is a beautiful and well made bed. Unfortunately, our 70 pound puppy (yes....not even a year old) chewed it up within an hour in her crate. I had hoped she had gotten past this chew stage and hadn't seen it as much but I guess the newness of the mattress was too much for her. We were hoping it would help with her elbows. I paid $50, so I will keep the chewed up, unzipped mattress in her kennel and see if we can get some use out of it.Great value for the price! I looked into other similar beds and most are very expensive compared to this one. This boy loves it! The size is deceiving in the pics it's a big bed. He's 70 pounds and there is still room left when he lays on it. Although he still prefers the floor most of the time. ? One dislike: the fabric that covers the bed has a leather feel and it's not as soft as I'd like. And it was a little time consuming to completely zipper the fabric around the memory foam so I can see that happening every time it has to get washed. Other than that, it's nice for the price.My Pressa Canario is a giant dog who loves this XL mattress. Took the first one to our camp where Thor lays on it all the time. He didn’t use it as much at home because he has carpet and his own couch to lay on. But my preschool and toddler grandkids loved it, so I bought one for them to lay on when they get tired. If they need a 5 minute rest, they just plop down on it. What they really love is the soft outside cover that comes on the XL.I have a 15 yr old boxer and she doesn't get around well any more so I wanted to get her a good quality bed. This is the one I thought looked the best. I WAS RIGHT! This thing is amazing, it's super soft and comfy. A breeze to clean, and she LOVES it! Please, if you have a pet, no matter the age they deserve this bed.I needed a bigger bed. My dog likes to stretch out on it.Really a great bed, I'll definitely be be replacing the 2nd one with this model when the time comesSpringy mattress. Beige has a soft buckskin like top that can be wiped clean. The interior side of the buckskin (when you unzip it) is a soft brown fabric. The back side is heavy black canvas. Construction is impeccable. This bed is high quality, will help a senior dog, and will last a long time. Plus, there's a 5-year warranty. Highly recommend!!!
