This bed i bought for my three small to medium sized dogs - 2 pugs and 1 Cheeweenie.They like to sleep together but spread out. This bed is supportive, does not sag and hold them really well.This is my 3rd Kuranda bed and i will buy nothing else.So this is my second Kuranda bed and loving it already. I have four forever dogs at my home as well as sick foster pups so need beds that can stand up to heavy chewing and continual use. Kuranda beds fit the bill AND their customer service is one of the best I’ve dealt with in the past couple years. Phil has helped me obtain replacement parts and provided me with helpful info to make it easier to choose my next bed. These beds aren’t inexpensive but they are well worth the price. Wish I’d started purchasing sooner. You will not be disappointed!I have had these din the past and they are great elevated beds!!I have tried many beds for my dog, but for some reason he usually ends up either chewing it up or humping it all night, rendering it utterly useless. Then, I came across the Kuranda Dog Bed (Chewproof - All Aluminum) and the problem has been solved!I bought this bed for my 2-year-old Golden Doodle rescue dog. I hesitated for quite a while on this purchase due to its expense and because it really just doesn't look all that comfortable. But I figured that after all the money I had spent on the other beds before, I should at least give this one a try. I am so happy that I did.Not only will my dog stay asleep all night, he is very comfortable on his new bed. Another added bonus is that it is also easily washable. Meaning…bring it outside, put a hose to the bed, dry it off (or let it air dry) and voila, like new!If there is anything negative to say about this bed, it would be the assembly process. This is due to the main reason that the fabric/canvas on the bed needs to fit tightly on the frame. After a little bit of finesse, I was able to get bed lining secured properly in place. I’m sure there is an easier way but I obviously did not go that route.I bought this aluminum-framed XXL 50x36 dog bed in Khaki Cordura fabric for my seven year old, 110 lb. Cane Corso, Tonka. I hesitated for quite a while on this purchase due to its expense and because it just doesn't look warm and cozy! I am so thrilled that I did. My hip dysplasia-riddled guy is loving this bed. I have even noticed a remarkable improvement in how he walks upon getting up from it. Yes, he seemed comfortable on his many comfy, cushiony, orthopedic and memory foam beds but he was always stiff and struggling upon getting up from them. Another big perk with this bed is that you can wash it off with soap and water with the hose, if you choose! I like clean. Each and every bed I've thrown out was done so because, despite regular washings, they eventually smelled so bad that it was noticeable throughout much of the house. Although the aluminum frame was stated to be for dogs 125 lbs up to 250 lbs., I bought this sturdier frame because I felt my guy was too close to the limit to take a chance! I will probably never have to buy him another bed again! Kuranda also has sherpa pads, among other things, that attach to it for the colder weather. Meanwhile, Tonka enjoyed air flow underneath him during the hot summer months. Being a bit of a couch potato, he is constantly on it. It is easy to understand how to put it together but a second set of hands would definitely be helpful. I am just thrilled with this purchase and so is Tonka!I have 4 Miniature Pinschers ranging in size from 6 lbs to 16 lbs (2 are the parents and the other two are their son & daughter). Little sis is a chewer and thinks anything with stuffing must have it removed, so traditional dog beds don't work because she just shreds them in a matter of minutes. Once she gets started, mom helps her out. We bought a cheap child size cot from Walmart but within 6 months, the girls had chewed the plastic framing apart and tore up the canvas. The Kuranda is made of outstanding materials and they haven't even attempted to chew on it (which would be impossible since its an aluminum frame). With the strong cordura fabric fitting inside the framing there's nothing for them to get a hold of to chew on there and they haven't even tried chewing or digging on it. We also love that it cleans up easily by hosing it off if needed and it dries quickly. When we call "bed time," they all run right to it, hop on & cuddle up. They look very happy, comfortable & content! Doggie bed problem solved!!!! We bought the largest size so they all fit on it and have room to stretch out if they want. I read some reviews that people had problems putting it together. My husband and I worked on it together and it was very quick and easy. Everything fit together well, so no problems here.I have purchased Kuranda products a few times more than 4 years ago, and was not able to assemble them correctly. I could not get them to line up. I figured I would try one more time, as my friends were pleased with their Kuranda dog bed cots. I purchased the Chewproof - All Aluminum (Silver) - XXL Indoor/Outdoor bed and it arrived with one tube which had not been punched out correctly. I called the manufacturer and they apologized and send out the replacement tube immediately. I followed the directions, and looked at the UTube video. It was a breeze to assemble - and my dogs love it!!! I will be purchasing some more. Thank you Kuranda for your excellent customer service and a great product, once I got the confidence to put it together!This bed is a god sent and was incredibly easy to put together! I even added some quick steel to the bolts to ensure they stay on. In the picture (to the right) you can see her old bed, it lasted maybe 2 months at most. Now look at the Kuranda Dog bed, it isn’t moving a muscle with my 160lb mastiff sitting on it. I was a little upset about the price, but now I can tell it’s completely worth it and I am probably going to purchase a second one for my other mastiff.Finally found a Dog bed that is not destroyed in a matter of hours or a few days. This is wonderful! My dogs love it and I will be saving for another one. Being used by German Shepherd dogs that are chewers. They move this around and zero issues with it. Easy to assemble and clean. Thanks for such a great product and my only wish is that I would have discovered this a long time ago. I would have saved hundreds in cloth dog beds.My working dog destroyed the first raised bed in 15 minutes. He is 90lbs and very destructive. He has tried to dig thru the bed on maaany occasions. He simply gives up an lays down on it and falls asleep. This is a great and durable bed.Easy to assemble...looking very good ... very solid...my dog loves it...yes it is expansive!!! But it is worth every penny... thanks for this perfect product. Fits very well with my german shorthair pointer wich is a big chewer who already destroy a lot of cushions bed...before earing about this aluminium bed we really taught that our baby would have to sleep the rest of his life on hardwood floorExcellent produit et service ultra rapide! Mon chien l’adore et moi aussi!My sweet border collie would eat his bed every week. He is well exercised - runs and plays on farm all day with many short training sessions mixed in for fun. He has great toys. He is on a balanced diet. We set up this bed (easy) and he hasn’t even tried to chew it. Well worth it!!!!
