I have an older dog, she’s around 12, small pekinese shih tzu with bad knees and hips. I have 2 floors and decided I needed an orthopedic bed upstairs and downstairs. The other bed I have for her cost me over $80 and we’ve had it for years. It’s too big for her but she loves it. I didn’t want another one, it’s too big. I was reluctant to purchase it online. She’s so picky and I was worried she wouldn’t like it. I’ve spent so much money on treats and beds that she doesn’t like. After reading the reviews, I was convinced to give it a try.I’m not sure on the dimensions, my dog is long but only weighs 10 lbs. When she lays down in a bed, she typically curls up so this size is perfect. When it arrived i felt the cover and to me it felt almost itchy. I realize it’s the thicker, high quality fabric and tossed it in the wash. Very easy to clean and put back on the bed. I put her in the bed and she jumped off a few times, I thought oh no, here we go again donating another bed. I decided to wait a week and the last few days, she’s been in the bed! I’m hoping this helps with her arthritis but of course I’ll never know. As long as she’s happy, I’m happy and by the looks of her today, she was very comfortable. I can currently hear her sleep barking so I decided it was time to share my story. If you have a picky diva dog that you’ve purchased a million dog beds for, try this one and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I’ve literally donated at least 8 other beds. So happy I found a winner!
