Our German Shepard stays nice and cool on this bed in his crate. He is very eager to use the bed. He also like the bolster to keep him in the bed and a place to lay his head on.I also like that it has a zipper cover for cleaning.Bleu Ash has had this bed more than a day. It is still in tackedReceived this bed on Tuesday evening. Put it out on Wednesday. It’s now Friday afternoon. Pup got to enjoy the bed for 2 days before his brother was able to destroy it in one morning. He was sure comfy on it. But it did get quite sizable wet spots from his drooling.I know nothing soft is chew-proof but this was easier to rip apart than I expected for something labeled durable.This is the first dog bed that our dog has not been able to chew through or dig into! To wash, I simply took off the cover and put it in the washer, then laid out to dry. If you’re looking for comfort or luxury for your pet though, this bed isn’t for you. It’s simple and not that fluffy, but my dog didn’t really mind that! I love this product so much!!Loved the bed. So did the puppy. He unzipped the outer buffer and pulled out the stuffing. His crate looked like the front porch after a heavy snow. Fortunately, the zipper stayed intact, and I was able to restuff the buffer. Looks like new on the outside. Inside--not so much. Still love the bed. Recommend adding a small hood to cover the zipper.If there were six stars I'd give it six. The bed arrived on time. I took it out of the box and immediately saw that it was a QUALITY bed. It fit inside the Midwest Single door metal dog crate, 48L x 30W x 33H inches, perfectly. The material was tight strong and is clear that it would be easy to clean. I didn't sleep on it, but it is clear that it is padded nicely to give a good night sleep. I was excited to see Lancelot hop in and cuddle right up. HOWEVER, It was short lived, Lancelot, a one year old Rottweiler, tore it to smithereens. This was not the beds fault, any other dog would have loved it. I'm not sure how he did it but I woke up to see Lancelot in a mountain of white padding. He must have worked at it all night long. So don't fault the bed or the manufacture. If you have a dog that will tear up a bed don't buy him a bed at all. It reminds me of the saying "you make your bed you lie in it" in this case, "if you eat your bed you don't get one". Once again this is a QUALITY bed, well worth the money.got a medium and large, the dogs love it. They are very soft but resilient at the same time, they're not mushy soft. we use them by the pool, we try to not get them soaked but they seem to be waterproof. i waited to wash them before i reviewed. 2 outer zippers and 1 inner. not a big deal removing cushions, just be careful and dont rip them. washed covers, hang dry. putting inside cushions back is easy. dont pull the outer cushion tight when putting it in the cover, leave it scrunchy and close 2 zippers. not a big deal. seem to be very good quality, cover seems to be holding up very well on cement around pool.How can people call this 'well made' and easy to use? Having taken the cover off to wash it, it's taken me a very frustrating half an hour to put the thing back together again. Look at all the loose threads inside the cover and the cheap little zips.Inside the cover the bed comprises a rectangle of foam and a long sausage-like bolster of netting-covered padding.Once you've washed the cover getting the piece of foam back in is no big problem but the surround is an absolute beast and seems way too long for the cover edging. There follows a long period of squeezing, unzipping and expletives to get the dashed thing in properly and zipped back up. And when you look up The Dog's Balls company, there's no number you can call to get help, just an email address.How I miss my Rougher Tougher dog crate bed which you just chucked in the wash and then hung out to dry.Update: Five months later the sad little inside zip holding the foam rectangle in place has broken off making bed virtually unusable.Could just be a bit thicker and a big bigger, but overall a good quality bed. We have 4 large dogs and wooden floors so we fold single bed quilts and lay them over the beds as our dogs are large and like to snuggle in front of the log fire. These beds make a firm comfortable base, and good valueMy dog’s previous bed was getting dirty so easily and all the time I had to wash it, while this one it’s so easy to clean. If there is some mud on it you can just wipe it. The only negative thing is that it’s not big enough for my dog even though I bought the biggest size. He doesn’t like sleeping on it but it’s good anyway :)It was on the floor 30 seconds and Harry, my 3 year old German Shepherd was on it and not for moving. Praise indeed when you consider his old bed was rigid plastic and had a fluffy bath mat, two pillows and two blankets in it. Was dubious because the price was a lot less than foam beds and the was an extra £20 off on Amazon. Money well spent.Brilliant within 5 seconds of putting it down he was on, and passed out in a minute or two. Looks like great quality and far better than his last bed. Decent memory foam center ( about 30mm to 40mm thick) and all the stitching seems of hi quality. Also it cleans well with a vacuum cleaner. Well worth the money.
