While I can appreciate the flush space-saving ladder, they needed to design a notch in the upper frame to make it easier to get into the top bunk. It is too tall for lower ceiling rooms and the storage rack only fits small narrow bins. My twins love it so that is all that matters. This is a two-person build but, one could do it but it was difficult.This was soooo easy to put together. I was able to do this on my own (with some ingenuity) in about 1.5 hours. Easy to follow instructions and is very secure. Great priceIts great! Very cheaply made and there were scratches everywhere when I opened it up and every time anything touches it, it scratches even more. ? If I knew this is what I was getting for almost $300 I would have saved my money and spent the extra for better quality. I don’t normally do surveys unless is for a positive review because I know how important reviews are to the seller. Smh! SAVE YOUR MONEY do not buy. If I had the funds to buy another bed I’d throw this one out right now.
